She died at the Bradford County Manor. She was a member of the Berrytown Wesleyan Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for 40 years. Mrs. Ward graduated from Mansfield State Teachers College and taught school for several years. She was survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth M. Ward; sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Mary Ward of Columbia Cross Roads RR2 and Robert and Nancy Ward of Yuma, AZ; daughter, Mrs. Patricia Shedden of Wysox; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, George Keir of Ulster, Delbert Keir of Philadelphia, Walter Keir of Teachey, NC and Ted Keir of Athens; sisters, Mary Harris of Ulster and Esther Stuart of Teachey, NC; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Beatrice Dowd, in 1990.
