Mrs. Rogers was born in Hemingway, a daughter of John S. and Isabelle Hughes Huggins. She was a member of John Wesley Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Samuel C. Rogers of Avondale, Edwin W. Rogers of Charleston Heights, Leon P. Rogers of Holly Hill, and Sgt. Joseph W. Rogers of the U S Army at Ft. Bragg; two daughters, Mrs. Newton B. Prause of Moreland and Mrs. Leonard A. Hill of Arlington, Va.; a sister, Mrs. E. E. Cribb of Hemingway; two brothers, W. J. Huggins and A. T. Huggins of Hemingway; and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services...will take place at 2 p.m. today at Stuhr's downtown chapel, the Rev. J. Foster Lupo and the Rev. Julian Cave officiating. Burial will be in Lake City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be B. A. Cox, Ebbie L. Cribb, Clarence Haselden, Anderson Huggins, Harry Huggins and Charles Barrineau.
