The body of the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Briddle, formerly of this county, who moved to Cozad, Neb., four years ago, was brought here Wednesday and taken to the Hazel Creek Union Church for burial. The little fellow was killed on Christmas Day by a cow on Mr. Briddle's farm. The boy was with another older little boy and was standing near the silo, when he got over the fence to show his little chum some of the pigs. Almost instantly the cow jumped onto him, tramping him frightfully, killing him instantly and even before the father could get to him. The many friends of the family here extend deepest sympathy to them in their bereavement.
