Ruby Amon, 73 of Fort Smith died Saturday, December 23, 2000 in Fort Smith.
She was a retired dietary assistant with Sparks Regional Medical Center, a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Fort Smith.
She was the widow of James H. Amon.
She was survived by five sons, Roger of Fresno, California, Tink of Rogers, Randy and Allen, both of Fort Smith, and Rusty of Roland; two sisters, Lela Scott of Greentop, Mo, and Eunice Barrickman of Kirksville, Mo.; two brothers, Claude Briddle of Riverton, Wyo., and Glen Briddle of Kirksville, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were graveside at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
