Mother of Eight Dies In Hospital

Blood Poison Develops From Abscess on Index Finger of Right Hand - Burial in Moville.

Mrs. Rosa Watkins, 42 years old, of Moville, IA., mother of 8 children, died in a Sioux City hospital Wednesday afternoon from blood poisoning which developed from an abscess on the index finger of her right hand.
The abscess started 2 months ago. For 6 weeks Mrs. Watkins hovered between life & death. Every effort to save her life was made by physicians.
Besides her husband, John Earl she is survived by her 8 children, Ralph, Gerald, Elmer, Anna, Hazel, Alta, Cecil & Clyde Watkins, all of Moville.
The body is being held at Westcott's undertaking parlors & will be sent to Moville for burial. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Moville Presbyterian Church.
