Mr. BLACKFORD was affiliated with the First Assembly of God Church at Sioux City, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife Jennie, who resides at the Pleasant View Nursing Home, Whiting, Iowa; 2 daughters, Mrs. Kyle (Elizabeth) ADAMS of Sloan, and Mrs. Lois GABRIELLI of Sioux City; 1 son Loren L. (Casey) BLACKFORD of Sioux City, Iowa; 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Mr. BLACKFORD was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, 1 son, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, 1 Dec. 1975 at the First Assembly of God Church, Sioux City, Iowa, with Rev. James Smith officiating. The organist, Mrs. James Smith, played the song selections "Beyond the Sunset" and "The Old Rugged Cross" for soloist, Mrs. Bert Stoneberg.
Bearers were Bert Bradley, Marvin BLACKFORD, Randy BLACKFORD, Gerald WATKINS, Galen MODLIN, and Joe GABRIELLI. Interment was in the Memorial Park, Sioux City, Iowa with arrangements by the Wood Funeral Home at Whiting, Iowa.
