MRS. WILLIAM CASTINE
Mrs. William (Belle) Castine of
Champlain, died May 15 at the Royal
Victoria, Hospital in Montreal after
a brief illness.
Mrs. Castine was born May 8,1905,
the daughter of Napoleon and Margaret
Chinvert of Rouses Point. She
attended St. Patrick's Academy and
was employed by the Telephone
Company there. On January 12,
1925, she was married to William
Castine.
Mrs: Castine is the mother of 13
children, who besides her husband,
sufvive. They are Francis, Donald,
Kenneth, Wendall, Wayne, Gerald,
Harold, Stanley, Daniel, Jack, Williaoir
Gloria and Carol Castine. Also
surviving are her father, eight sisters,
Mrs. Bertha Swinton of Whitehall,
Mrs. Margaret Hill, Mrs. Dorothy
Mussen, Mrs. Beatrice Supernault
and Mrs. Mable LaBombard of
Rouses. Point; Mrs. Anna Gamache,
Mrs., Clftra Gooley and Mis. Eleanor

Point.
Funeral services were held in St.
Mary's Church on Friday, May 18,
Rev. Arthur Desrosiers conducted
the requiem Mass, assisted by Rev.
Gilbert Faucher, Rev. Gerald Sharland,
Rev. Wilbert LeBeau and Rev.
Father McCasland.
.^thierment was made in the St.
Mary's Cemetery where Rev.' Father
McCasland recited prayers at the
grave.
The pallbearers, all nephews of
Mrs. Castine, were Alan Hill, Richard
Hill, Ronald Mussen, Richard
Latourneau and Harold LaBombard,
all of Rouses Point and Albert Goodley, Jr., Champlain
