A graveside service will begin at noon Friday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery for Karl Hartung, who died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 87.
Mr. Hartung, born September 25, 1913 in Laurel, Montana, lived in Vancouver since 1942.
Survivors include his wife, Nickoletta, at home; one daughter Juliann Hewson of Vancouver; one son, Richard of Stockton, Calif.; two sisters, Eva Schneider and Pauline Barney, both of Billings, Mont.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
