Born Oct. 20, 1907 in Bristol, son of the late Pierre and Vitaline Landry Allaire, he was a life long resident.
Retiring in 1965 from the P. Allaire and Sons construction firm of Bristol, he was employed in maintenance for the Board of Education, retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Bristol Fish and Game Club and St. Anne Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Estelle Harmon Allaire; two sons, Peter R. of Glen Ellyn, Ill. and David R. Allaire of Bristol; a daughter, Mrs. Jane McCarthy of Bristol; four brothers, Euclid of Florida, Paul and Bernard of Bristol and Orien Allaire of Windsor; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Tues at 8:30 a.m. from the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave, to St. Ann Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. BRISTOL PRESS, CONN, Monday, April 4, 1977
