MRS. JAY ROY
Mrs. Ella Allaire Roy, 70, of 24 Orchard Street, Bristol, wife of Jay A. Roy, died in Bristol Hospital Wednesday after a long illness. She lived in Bristol all her life. Before retiring six years ago, she worked at Bristol Hospital 17 years. She was a member of St. Anne's Church, Bristol, the Ladies Society of the Church and World War I Veterans Auxiliary, Bristol. Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Pierre J. Roy of Windsor, Bernard P. Roy of Newington and Joseph J. Roy of Bristol; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Washburn of Burlington; five brothers, Euclid Allaire of Vero Beach, Fla., Orien Allaire of Windsor and Paul Allaire, Raymond Allaire and Bernard Allaire all of Bristol, and 20 grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday at 8 a.m. from the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol and in St. Anne's Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours are Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, Springfield, Mass.
