Obituary - Sigourney Review Jan.18,1939 - Eliza Ann Davis Robertson died at 6:50 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lieutta Quinn here, following an illness of two months. She had made her home in Sigourney for the past 11 years and had lived in Keokuk County for 83 years. She was the mother of Eugene Robertson, local man. The aged women was born in 1847 near Greenwood, Indiana , one of 13 children of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Davis. When she was nine years old, the family came to Keokuk Co and settled on a farm in Van Buren Township. She was united in marraige to John Sloan Robertson and their married life was spent near Hayesville. Mrs. Robertson died the day after her 72nd wedding anniversary. Funeral Services were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial was in Pennington Cemetery."
