Obituary - Sigourney Review Jan. 25, 1905 "Mrs. Dorman had been sick for a long time and her death was not unexpected. For a long time she has been a great suffered but bore her ills patiently. There are no better people than the Dormans and the sympathy of their friends go out to Mr. Dorman. Elizabeth Dorman, nee Davis , was born in Johnson CO. Indiana...With her parents she moved to Iowa in 1855 and was married to Jess Dorman May 1, 1860. She was united with the CHurch of Christ about 30 years ago since which her life has been an exemplification of what a pure and devoted Christian life should be. She was a model Christian, an ideal wife, a devoted mother and affectionate sister, a true friend and a kind neighbor."
