99 Year Old Crete resident Succumbs

Crete, Nebraska, April 12 -Funeral services were held here today for John C. Davis, 99, who died here Sunday. Born in Iowa, Mr. Davis came to Nebraska and homesteaded near Friend. He had been a resident of Crete for more than 60 years. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John Trout, Virginia; Mrs. Luella La Coq, Santa Monica, California; four sons, Frank, Chadron; Charles, Los Angeles, California; Archie , Omaha; and William, Crete.
