Roy Taylor and Irene Schmidt were married at 4pm. Sat. Oct. 28, 1939 at the parsonage of Salem Evangelical Church in Albion MI. The Rev. Juergens, pastor of the church, performed the single ring ceremony. The bride wore a gown of floor length aqua blue rayon morie taffeta with silver sandals. A wreath of flowers was worn in her hair. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony. The bride graduated from Albion High School in 1933 and is employed at Gilbert's Chocolate Co in Jackson. The groom attended school in Tompkins and is employed at Wolcott's Nursery. The couple will reside in Jackson.
