Funeral Services for Nellie Louise Noey Thompson, 68, of Ashdown were Dec. 2 at the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel, DeQueen, with David Martin, Ray Nicholas and Bobby Neal officiating. Services were also held Dec. 4 at the the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Alamagordo, N.M., with burial in the Monte Vista Cemetery in Alamagordo.
Mrs. Thompson died Nov. 29 at Wadley Regional Medical Center, Texarkana.
She was born June 30, 1928, in DeQueen. Mrs Thompson was a homemaker and member of the Ben Lomond First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Odell Otis Martin; a son, Harry Odell Martin, and a daughter, Thelma Lee Neel.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold Thompson of Ashdown; four sons, Bobby Thompson of Ashdown, Harold Martin of DeQueen, Johnny Martin of Pryor, Ok. and David Martin of Locust Grove, OK ; three daughters, Jean Duncan of Foreman, Virginia Harris of Austin, Tex., and Sandra Davis of Dallas, Tex.; five brothers, Charlie Noey of Broken Bow, OKla., Clovis Noey of Bogata, Tex., Morris Noey of Horatio, Harold Noey of Wills Point, Tex., and Louis Noey of DeQueen; one sister, Ethel Shuffield of Ben Lomond; 31 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
