BOGATA ? Clovis William Noey, 88, of Napels, formerly of Bogata, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, in Omaha Healthcare Center in Omaha.

Graveside funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Smith Cemetery at Rosalie under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

The family receives friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He was born Feb. 5, 1918, in Veasey community of Red River County, a son of Jess Murphy and Mary Vernelia Noey. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Noey; and an adopted son, Y.J. Proctor.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Noey of Naples; a son, Floyd Noey and wife, Billie, of Bogata; step-sons, Bill Proctor and wife, Joyce, of Bogata, Roy Fincher and wife, Wanda, of Naples, Eddie Fincher of Amarillo; step-daughters, Bonnie Wise and husband, Carl, of Taft, Calif., and Ruth Donahou and husband, Nathan, of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, Morris and Lewis Noey; and a sister, Ethel Sheffield, all of Arkansas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
