Louis Henry Noey, age 91, a resident of De Queen, died Sunday, April 26, 2015, at his home. He was born May 18, 1923, in Lubbock, Texas.

He was a logger, farmer, served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and was a Baptist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Mr. Noey was preceded in death by his parents, Chess and Minerva Noey; his wife Anita Joyce Noey; one son, Louis Ray Noey; one great grandson, Layne Elmore and 11 siblings. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Randy Bivins; one son, Steve Noey all of De Queen; one sister, Ethel Shuffield of Lockesburg; four grandchildren, Amanda Rose Hernandez, Kristi Elmore, Mike Matheson and Randy Matheson, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Noey will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Travis Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Wofford Chapel Cemetery.
