Four Oaks - Dennis Earl Jackson, 71, of 80 Lakewood Rd. died Sunday at Johnston Memorial Hospital. A native of Dillon County, SC, he was the son of the late Cornelius C. and Nancy Cannon Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a retired contract power lineman and as a hobby was a gun repairman.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier, with Pastor Jimmy Earp officiating.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Mildred [Ilene] Varner Jackson; son, Danny Jackson and wife, Jacquline of Coats; sisters, Evelyn Byrd of Fayetteville, Nina Grimsley of Lumberton, Dessie Cox of Blandenboro; brother, Stan Jackson of Alaska; and granddaughters, Danielle and Alexandra Jackson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 East McIver St., Angier, prior to the funeral service.
