Mrs. Ruthen Belle Avery, 57, of 605 S. Willow St., died last night in Southeastern General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Biggs Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery. The Rev. Vance Tyson of Bladenboro will officiate.
Survivors include the husband, Holice W. Avery; four brothers, Elbert C. Jackson of Marion, S.C., Ivory A. Jackson of Thomasville, Stancil L. Jackson of Virginia, Dennis E. Jackson of Fuquay-Varina; seven sisters, Mrs. Carson T. Byrd and Mrs. Bradley Grimsley of Lumberton, Mrs. John W. Byrd, Mrs. Joe Part and Mrs. L.C. Walker, all of Fayetteville, Mrs. Lonnie Cox of Bladenboro, and Mrs. Odell Richardson of Chadbourn.
