She is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Hollice Avery, Mrs. Carson Byrd, Mrs. Bradley Grimsley, and Mrs. Elmer Ivey, all of Lumberton, Mrs. Lonnie Cox of Bladenboro, Mrs. J.W. Byrd of Fayetteville, Mrs. Odell Richardson of Chadbourn, and Mrs. Leroy Walker of Newport News, Va.; four sons, Dennis of Lumberton, Ivory of Thomasville, Elbert of Rains, S.C., and Stancil of Harrisonburg, Va.; and 41 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
