Funeral service was conducted in Wichita Falls, Monday for Mr. Alfred Dee Carter, 55, a former Iowa Park resident. Dr. T. Lee Miller, Pastor of Floral Heights Methodist church, officiated. Burial was in Highland cemetery. Pallbearers were C. W. Brewster, Buster Moore, J. C. Chenault, Henry O'Brien, Bill Stewart. Austin Chamberlain. Mr. Carter, a long time café cook, died in Huntsville, Friday, Aug. 9. of a heart attack.

Born Feb. 11, 1907, in Hamilton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Carter, he came to Iowa Park with them as a small boy and resided in this area all his life.

Surviving are six sisters: Mmes C. C. Moore of Iowa Park, Orville Chamberlain and Felix Lofland of Wichita Falls, John Bulman of Hico, Frank Moore of Richmond, Calif., Alfred Walsman Morse,
Ind.; four brothers. Mack, Bill and Jim Carter of Wichita Falls and Owen Carter of Pampa. There are several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Floyd Browning of Iowa Park.
