Ethel Moore, a homemaker, died Wednesday in a Vallejo hospital. She was 98.

The Texas native was a two-year resident of Vallejo and former 55-year resident of West County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank T. Moore. She is survived by a daughter, Lucille Huckaby of Arkansas; son, Rex Thornton of Arizona; sister, Pauline Lofland of Texas; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
