Hazel Barlow Pace Day Our dear, kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Hazel Barlow Pace Day departed Wed., October 16, 2002 from this life to be reunited with loved ones in heaven. Born in West Jordan, Utah on January 14, 1915, the eight of 12 children of Ianthus Winford Barlow and Chloe Clair McMullin. Married her sweetheart, Lawrence Delbert Pace on May 7, 1932. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised seven children. He preceded her in death June 20, 1971. Married Harvey H. Day in 1974. He preceded her in death July 1995. Mother loved the beautiful things that God created, especially children. She made each person she met feel special. She spent many winters in St. George riding motorcycles and making friends. She loved to cook, crochet, paint and visit with family. Mom leaves a legacy of love and we will miss her. Through all her trials, she kept her sense of humor. Survived by her children: Lee Pace; Joy Clifford, Bountiful; Larry (Kay) Pace, Farmington; Ron Pace, Salt Lake; Patti (Jim) De Santi, Farmington; Tammy Pace, Bountiful; brother, Roy Barlow, Salem; 25 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, Buddy Delroy. Services will be held at the Steed Creek Stake Center, 347 South 200 West, Farmington, Monday, October 21, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. where friends may call from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. prior to services.
