Samuel Edward Barlow 1939 ~ 2009 Samuel Edward Barlow, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, following a brief battle with cancer.He was born on September 13, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ianthius W. and Cleo O. Barlow. Sam's love was for the gospel of Jesus Christ and his family. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially in the early morning. Sam was a connoisseur of fine wines, which he loved to share with friends. He was well known for his special love and tenderness for children. He is survived by his large family, brothers, sisters and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 22, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, UT. There will be a viewing held Saturday evening, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Samuel Barlow's Residence in Centennial Park, AZ. There will also be a viewing held Sunday evening, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., both at the Larkin Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel. Interment will take place at the Bountiful City Cemetery following the services. Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, St. George, UT, (435) 673-2454.
