A funeral service for Mrs. Julia Cardwell Williams, 83, of 2110 Hanover Avenue, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Christian's Funeral Home, with burial in Hollywood Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams, who died Thursday, was the widow of Albert G. Williams, Jr.
She was the daughter of Judge Cardwell, justice of the Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals from 1894 to 1916 and speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates before that.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Anne Kennon Williams of Richmond.
