Leada loved her Lord and enjoyed attending church services, in reading her Bible and worshiping God. She was a member of Grace Baptist Fellowship Church and had great faith during good and bad times.
Before retirement she was a cook at Union Hospital and the Wit and Wisdom Senior Citizen's Center.
She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan rarely missing a game on her television. She loved to cook for others and said she is going to be a cook in heaven serving all of the Cardinal Baseball players who have passed and are with her in heaven. She was instrumental in forming the "We Who Wait" club during the Vietnam War organizing functions which helped those serving in the armed forces and comforting their families.
