She loved to cook for others and said she is going to be a cook in heaven serving all of the Cardinal Baseball players who have passed and are with her in heaven. She was instrumental in forming the "We Who Wait" club during the Vietnam War organizing functions which helped those serving in the armed forces and comforting their families.
