RAY BLAKEMORE DIES IN HOSPITAL
Willie Ray Blakemore, who died Friday, May 20 in the Stilwell Municipal hospital, was buried Sunday, May 22 in the Stilwell cemetery.
Funeral services were conducted in the Roberts Funeral Home chapel, with Rev Bill Allen officiating.
Blakemore was born May 6, 1884 in Cane Hill, Arkansas.
His survivors include: the widow, Mrs Una Blakemore of the home; five sons, Glenn of Tahlequah, J. D. of Miami, Bill of Bartlesville, James of Atlanta, Georgia, and Tom of Fort Hood, Texas; one daughter, Mrs Etta Mae Watson of Long Beach, California; two brothers, Jim of Tahlequah and Clarence of Stilwell; and one sister, Mrs Mary Crozier of Stilwell.
