CLARENCE BLAKEMORE DIES; RITES TODAY
Clarence W. Blakemore, 79-year old retired Stilwell resident, died Monday at his home here after a long illness.
Blakemore, born Aug. 27, 1887 in Clyde, Ark., had lived here for many years. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Madeline Blakemore of the home; four sons, McClure, Sam, and Clarence W. Blakemore Jr, all of Stilwell, and Jack M. Wade, Espanola, N. M.; four daughters, Miss Mary Maude Blakemore, and Mrs. Maggie Lou Blakemore, both of Tulsa. Mrs. Joan Isaacs, Phoenix, Ariz, and Mrs. Janana Loudermilk, Eunice, N. M.; one sister, Mrs. Mary L. Crozier, Stilwell; and one brother, Jim Blakemore, Tahlequah.
Services were held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Allen, First Methodist Church pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Stilwell Cemetery.
