BLAKEMORE RITES HELD
Services for James Allen Blakemore, 86, Tahlequah, a native of Evansville, Ark., were held March 13 in Tahlequah with interment in the Stilwell City Cemetery.
Blakemore, born July 25, 1896 in Evansville, was a retired superintendent with Mid-Continent Oil Co. He served in the U. S. Navy in World War I. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tahlequah.
After retiring he moved from Cromwell to Stilwell and to Tahlequah 20 years ago.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Velma Louise Blakemore of the home; one daughter, Mary Casteel of Moore; one sister, Mary Crozier, Stilwell; and four grandchildren.
