Marian K. Garrett, 86, of Bradley, passed away Wednesday (Nov. 27, 2013) at Presence Heritage Village, Kankakee. Burial will follow in Kankakee Memorial Gardens, Aroma Township. Memorials may be made to the family wishes.
She was born Aug. 16, 1927, in Pembroke Township, the daughter of George and Myrtle Linebrink Smith. She married James Garrett in 1951 in New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1957.
Mrs. Garrett was a retired employee of Dow Chemical (Mortells). She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Larry and Terry; and 16 brothers and sisters.
