10-year-old Watseka girl dies in Chicago: Clara Belle Smith, daughter of Mrs. Myrtle B. Smith of near Watseka, died at 8:30 AM Saturday at the Chicago research hospital of heart trouble. She had been ill for five months. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 PM from the Segur funeral home in Watseka with the Rev. Herbert A. Bennett of the Methodist Church conducting. Burial will be made in Chebanse Cemetery. The child was born April 22, 1933 at St. Anne was a daughter of George H. And Myrtle B. Linebrink Smith. Her father who died eight years ago was a native of Chebanse. Mrs. Smith's birthplace was in Defiance, Ohio. Clara Belle leaves her mother and the following brothers and sisters: Raymond, Kenneth, Marian, Jeanette at home, Mrs. Fred Davis, Momence, private John I. Smith, stationed in Utah, Mrs. Harry Cleary, Saunemin and Mrs. James Brady of Kankakee. Also surviving her are her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Linebrink.
