HELEN CSIKOS (nee Kovacs): passed away 7 Jun 2001; wife of the late Karoly; mother of KarolyJr, Gyula, Paul, George, Peter, Gabriel, Eva Kubicki, Magda Polotay & Margaret Bees (sp-Robert); grandmother of 20 & gr grand-mother of 31. Cremation by Busch Crematory, Private services will be held at a later date. Busch-Saxton-Parker-Daniels Family Chapel.
Dianna's thoughts about her first meeting with Ilona: As was family tradition, George brought me to his home to meet his parents before we married. Mom must have liked me right away because she told me that if George did not treat me right I "should come home to her".
Interview-1987--Ilona Kovacs Csikos told about her parents meeting. Janos Kovacs got a job in Szombathely & rented a room at the home of the Aunt of Terezia Schwarz -- she was living with her Aunt who was a widow & rented out rooms to support herself.
Janos was born in Kisujfalu; Terezia was born in Szambathley. She died in 1918; he died in 1957.
