ARRIVAL--Erik-Eva-Magda arrived in America on 26 Sep 1955 on the USNS "General W.C. Langfitt". Eva did not apply for citizenship.
MEMORIES OF Eva: she spoke of raising an Angora rabbit as a pet in Hungary, she & Madge each had one. One time Eva got a silk worm which formed a cocoon, but they never finished the project of getting the silk thread from it. Eva says she remembers going to a cemetery just outside of Szöd to visit the grave of Eva Udvardi but she does not know about Janos Kovacs (her mother's parents).

EVA KUBICKI (nee Csikos)--82: of Avon Lake passed away Sunday [3-24] in a rehab center in Westlake.
Loving mother of Maggie (sp-Kevin) Fraley, Eric Jannsohn & Evelyn Zwolinski; cherished grandmother of Kerensa (John) Parke, Lauren Joy Fraley, Holly (Scott Alford) Zwolinski, Zach & Jordan Zwolinksi & the late Brooke Akins; sister of George (sp-Dianna) Csikos, Margie (sp-Bob) Bees, Peter (sp-Linda) Csikos, Gabe (sp-Candy) Csikos, the late Chuck (sp-Kathryn) Csikos, Magda Palotay, Gyuszi Csikos & Paul Csikos.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday [3-27] at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park. [Interment was held Friday 4-12; attended by her grandchildren, her children & her siblings]
