ARRIVAL-Karoly & family arrived in America on 1 Nov 1950 in New York NY on the General Blachford. Two spinster sisters (Mary & Charlotte Carr) from Michigan sponsored the family; they worked the farm for several years before coming to Cleveland. Karoly got a job working for Ford Motor Company in Brookpark & retired from there.

Karoly was born in Albertfalva, a son of Agoston Csikos & Lidia Juhasz; they both lived & died in Albertfalva. He was very fond of growing roses...he was proud of his collection & very willing to explain his methods. He also loved his grandchildren & liked to puzzle the children in the family. He worked with little pelletts that looked like glass marbles. He would take a walnut, break it in half, remove the meat, insert a marble, then glue it back together. The walnut shell would then rattle & the grandkids could not figure out why.
