NEWTON-Rosa Marie Anthony Spencer,87, of Pellcare Nursing Home, died Sept. 14, 1991 at Frye Regional Medical Center following a period of declining health.
Born Oct. 29, 1903, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Sarah martin Anthony.
She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles V. Spencer, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Gayle Ford at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 tonight and at other times at the home of a niece, Coleen Dabbs, 316 North Caldwell Ave., Newton.
