Wesley Braswell
Wesley Z. Braswell, 72, former resident of Itta Bena, died at the Cleveland hospital Thursday morning. Services were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. P. Irwin in Shaw this afternoon at o'clock with rites conducted by Rev. Caraway. Burial was made in Indianola cemetery with Williams and Lord in charge. Mr. Braswell resided in Itta Bena for many years and in 1913 sold out his farming interest and retired, making his home in Cleveland. He was a Methodist. He leaves the following daughters and a son. Mrs. D. P. Irwin. Shaw; Mrs. H. G. Garner, Boyle; Mr. F. W. Wilbanks. Jackson; Mrs. John Turner, A. L. Braswell, Henderson, Nevada; also two brothers and a sister, J. H. Braswell, . Alonzo BraswelL, Wisner. La.; and Mrs. Vickey Guice, Kilmichael. Pallbearers were: J. T. Reed, Nawling Campbell. Herbert Ballard. Elton Jones, Durwood Meadows and Willie Watley.
