Funeral services for Jeston Alonzo Braswell, 69 of Wisner were held in Holly Grove Baptist church near Wisner at 2 p.m. October 1.

Mr. Braswell died September 30 at 12:30 p.m. near his home. A farmer, Mr. Braswell was born April 23, 1891 at Kosciusko, Miss. He had lived at Wisner for 24 years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. The Rev. James Brown officiated at funeral services, which were followed by burial in Holly Grove cemetery.

Surviving Mr. Braswell are his wife, Mrs. Lizzie E. Braswell, New Orleans; three sons, the Rev. H. A. (Son) Braswell, Austin Braswell and John E. Braswell, all of Wisner; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Earle, Columbia, Miss., Mrs. Mamie Fussell and Miss Edith Braswell, both of Wisner; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a brother, Johnnie H. Braswell, Wisner.

Pallbearers were Dan Beach, Archie Albritton, A. J. Albritton, Henry Albritton, W. H. Albritton and Farrell Rials.
