Darold Jay Clements, 41, died Thursday, Sept 1, 1983 in Panguitch, Utah.
He was born July 12, 1942 in American Fork. He is the son of Welby L. and Grace G. Nielsen Clements.
He married Pamela Rae Jones August 1962 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Los Angeles Temple. They were later divorced.
He then married Aurora (Lollie) Beatriz Gimenez, Feb 11, 1978 in American Fork. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was an electrician and received an Associate Degree in Applied Science form Utah Technical College.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1960.
He was a geoligist, primary teacher, member of his ward's 70 quorum, scout leader and served on four LDS Stake missions. He was also involved with one of the first indian placement students in Provo.
He had lived in Washington, Tucson, Arizona, California and Texas.
He was an avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of Panguitch, three sons and six daughters: Robert Morgan Clements, Lehi: Jason J. Clements, Donald James Clements, Tammy Jean Clements, Alicia Rose Clements, Tricia Rae Clements, all of Texas: Venessa Beth Clements. Tuscon, Arizona; Aubri Brooke Clements, and Jocelyn Maria Clements, both of Panquitch; parents of Lehi, four brothers and two sisters: Martin LaRay Clements. Jack Leo Clements, Mrs. R. (Shirley) Price, all of American Fork; Robert Leon Clements, West Point, Utah. Lyle Rod Clements, and Mrs. Merlin (Vickie) Hatton, both of Lehi.
Funeral services will be Tuesday Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Wing Mortuary Chapel, Lehi, where friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.. and Tuesday prior to services.
Burial is in American Fork City Cemetery.
