Helena was the daughter of William & Jennie Eline Adams. She was the wife of Oscar J. Myers. She had 9 siblings. Bernard, Raymond, George, Joseph, Mary (Beck), Pauline Katherine (Yealy), Hilda Cecelia (Kessler/Crawford), Helen Gertrude & Charles Adams who died in infancy.

Hanover - Mrs. Helena F. Myers, 65, of 250 Diller Road, died at 8 a.m. Sunday at her home. She had been in ill health for the past 18 months. Her husband, O.J. Myers, who died in 1965, had owned the O.J. Myers furniture store. A native of Hanover, Mrs. Myers was a daughter of the late William J. and Jennie Eline Adams.

Mrs. Myers belonged to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of the class of 1923 of St. Joseph's Academy, McSherrystown.

Surviving are a son, John R Myers, 252 Diller Road; two grandchildren and two sisters, Pauline Yealy 413 Baltimore St. and Hilda Kessler, 18 West Hanover Street.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, meeting at 9:30 a.m. at the Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, followed at 10 a.m. with a mass of resurrection at St. Vincent's Church. The celebrant will be her pastor, The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Robert J. Maher.
