Mrs. Jennie M. Adams, widow of William J. Adams, 18 West Hanover Street, died this morning at 1:30 o'clock, at the Hanover General hospital, where she had been admitted as a patient on September 8. She was aged 76 years. Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late David and Rebecca Smith Eline, and was born March 23, 1866.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Baltimore Street. Surviving her are seven children, Mrs. James (Mary) L. Beck, York; George L. Adams, 217 Baltimore Street; Raymond Adams, Atlantic City, NJ; Joseph Adams, at home; Mrs. Leo F. Yealy, 413 Baltimore Street; Mrs. Curvin (Hilda) Kessler, 302 Fulton Street, and Mrs. O.J. (Helena) Myers, 229 Meade Avenue; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild, and two brothers, William Eline, Centennial Avenue and Felix Eline, York.

The funeral will be held Monday morning, meeting at her late residence at 8:30 o'clock. A requiem mass will be conducted at 9 a.m at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Baltimore Street. The rector, the Rev. Edward J. O'Flynn, will be celebrant. Burial will be made in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the home Sunday evening.

A few records give her name as Mary Jane rather than Jennie M.
The 1860 Census and the 1870 Census has her named as Virginia. All other records say Jennie M.
