Hilda had 4 brothers, Bernard, Raymond, George, Joseph, and Charles Adams who died in infancy. Her sisters were Mary Beck, Helen Gertrude, Pauline(Yealy), and Helena(Myers). Her granchildren are Leslie, Laurie, Dan, Tom & Andy and Nick & Christine, and Stacy, Robin & Laura. We called her Memaw.

Hilda Kessler Crawford, 82, 18 West Hanover Street, Hanover, died Saturday at the Hanover General Hospital.
Born in Hanover, she was the wife of the late Curvin H. Kessler and the late Leon H. Crawford. She was the daughter of the late William J. and the late Jennie Eline Adams.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hanover.
She is survived by two sons, Robert G. Kessler, 304 Park Heights Blvd., Hanover, and Joseph Kessler, Lancaster; one daughter, Virginia Orfeo of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Pauline Yealy, 413 Baltimore Street, Hanover.
The family will meet at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St, at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday for the procession to the church. The viewing will be held Monday with the pastor, Monsignor Robert C. Gribbon, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
