Julius Wettstein, 81, of the town of Stockbridge, died Wednesday at Calumet Hospital, Chilton. He had been in ill health two years.
Funeral services will be Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton, and at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Kloten, the Rev. Duane Dionne, assistant pastor at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Wettstein was born April 12, 1882 in the town of Stockbridge, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wettstein. A farmer all his life, he retired three years ago. He married the former Anna Neuber in April 1907, at St. Elizabeth Church.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Horvatch, of Milwaukee, a brother, Adrian of Wabeno, a grandchild and two great grandchildren.
