Requiem For Chas. Wettstein Wednesday A.M.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning for Charles Wettstein, 80, who died Sunday evening after being in poor health for the past few years.

The remains were taken from the O'Neill funeral home at nine o'clock to St. Anthony's Catholic church where the requiem mass was sung by the Rev. Francis Francart. Interment took place in the Catholic cemetery with Messrs. Edw. Graf, Roland LeComte, Frank Ehlinger, Tony Metzler, Chas. Coopman and John Lotter carrying the casket to its final resting place.

Mr. Wettstein who had lived in Oconto Falls for the past 21 years, was born at Chilton on April 16th, 1867. He was employed as head sawyer for the Jones Lumber Company at Wabeno for thirty years. He retired and moved to Oconto Falls in 1926.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, one daughter, Mrs. Ted O'Neill, two grandsons James and John O'Neill and two brothers, Adrian of Wabeno and Julius of Chilton.

The family of Mr. Wettstein have the sincere sympathy of their friends in their bereavement.
