Mary Elizabeth Bowen was born in Sebastian Co., Arkansas, July 19, 1851, the daughter of William Russell "Russ" Bowen and Mary Ann "Polly" Barnard. She married George Washington Bradshaw and they had three children together (Lewis, Louise, & Mary). After George Bradshaw died, she married a Mr. Ray, with whom she had one daughter, Retta Ray. [RS]
