Ahab Bowen, born 28 January 1861 in Sebastian County, Arkansas, was the 2nd child of William Russ and Elizabeth Frances (Bradshaw) Bowen. He married Anna "Annie" Hale on 10 October 1882 in Washington County, Arkansas. Ahab and Annie were the parents of 3 children: James Barnes Bowen (1884-1963), Florence Bowen Baker (1886-?), and Habbie Elizabeth Bowen Addy (1887-1976). Ahab died at the young age of 26 on 19 Nov. 1887 and is buried in the Bowen Family Cemetery in Webbers Falls, Muskogee County, Oklahoma. (Bio by Rhetta)
