Margarite Armella Mains, six year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Corbett Mains died Wednesday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the home at Third and Ashtabula streets. Death came after a week's illness with diptheria.
Armella attended the first grade at St. Joseph's school and was a general favorite there. The parents, one brother and one sister, James and Mary Elisabeth Mains, survive. Mrs Mains was Miss Kathryne Byrnes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Byrnes of north Fifth street before marriage. Mr. Mains is an employee of the Ironton By-Product Coke Company as an A.C. operator.
Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Last rites will be private. Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery, under directions of O'Keefe and Company.
