Clarks Hill- Bernice M Fidler, 82, of Clarks Hill, a retired nurses aide, died at 3:59 am Wednesday in Regency Place, where she had resided since March 1987. She had been in failing health two years.

Mrs Fidler was born in Clarks Hill, 10/21/1906. Her marriage, in Stockwell, on June 16, 1923 was to Ralph Fidler who survives.She attended Clarks Hill schools and was a member of the Clarks Hill Christian Church.Mrs Fidler was a nurses aided at St Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, retireing in 1958.Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Mrs Francis (Rosemary) Grolo of Clarks Hill, two sons, Dennis Fidler of Spencer and Walter Fidler of Lafayette and two brothers, Lee Nydegger of Clarks Hill and Paul Nydegger of Tulsa. Oklahomo.

FUNERAL NOTICE: FIDLER, Bernice M-Friends may call 5-8 pm today,Landis-Loy Stockwell Chapel. Srvice there 10:30 am Friday, the Rev Norman R Able officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery. Surviving, 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Three sons, Dewey, Ross and Ralph Fidler, and a brother Ben Nydegger, preceded in death.
