Mrs. Caroline Beaver, 60, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday at her home, 812 Wright street, after a serious illness since Monday. She had been in failing health since July, 1942, when she suffered a stroke.

Mrs. Beaver was born in Dallas township 20 January 1874, to Henry and Caroline Schroeder Sunderman. Her marriage was to Henry Beaver 14 January 1896. The husband died 17 April 1917.

Surviving children are the Rev. Lawrence Beaver, Lagrange; Mrs Esther Mae Ashley, Hobart; Mrs. Oliver Swaidner, Huntington; Miss Crystal Beaver, Anderson; Miss Betty Beaver, Lamar, Colo.; Miss Eleanor Beaver, Rensselaer; Miss Hilda Beaver and Miss Wanda Beaver, at home and Russell Beaver, Anderson. There are four grandchildren, Marjorie Beaver, Gweneth Swaidner, Gerald Swaidner and Lowell Swaidner. One daughter, Elsie Marie is dead. Two brothers, George Sunderman and Richard Sunderman, live in Huntington and Mrs. Sophia Tedrick of Andrews is a sister. Four brothers and two sisters are dead.

Mrs. Beaver was a member of the Church of God.

The body was returned to the home where friends may call.

Funeral arrangements were not complete Wednesday pending word from relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Beaver will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of God with the Rev. H. R. Shock officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster cemetery.
