Tommye Lee Barr White, 72, of Mendenhall died April 6 of multi organ failure at St. Dominics Hospital in Jackson. A native of Simpson County, she was a retired business manager, a member of Magee Presbyterian Church, and a member of the American Business Women Association. She helped her husband run a trucking business for 40 years.

Funeral services were held April 8 at Mims Mitchell Chapel in Magee with burial in Sharon Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew Daniel White of Mendenhall; three sons, Ammi Daniel (Andy) White and Walter Alan (Wally) White both of Brandon, and Tommy Joseph (T. J.) White of Pearl; one daughter, Lee Anne White Lewis of Cincinnate, Ohio; one brother, Ammi Howard Barr of Mendenhall; two sisters, Ida Leona Barr Maddox of Magee and Gabbie Marie Barr Titone of Shreveport, LA; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
