Funeral services will be held at: 3:00 p.m., on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will be in Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee.
Mr. Barr is preceded in death by his parents, Ammie Barr and Irena Shoemaker Barr; wife, Nezzie White Barr; brothers, Charles Ray Barr and Wayne Barr; sisters, Marie Titone, Nell Hughes, and Tommie Lee White.
Survivors include his children, Michelle Wilfong,(Neil) of Brandon, Mike Barr, of Mendenhall, Kenny Barr,(Cindy) of Mendenhall, Stanley Barr,(Priscilla) of Mendenhall, Mark Barr, of Mendenhall, Connie Barr, of Brandon, Jeff Barr,(Sharon) of Mendenhall; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and sister, Leona Maddox.
